In an interview on BBC TV Arabic, Professor Walid Phares, who advises the Ant-Terror Caucus on Counter Terrorism and is a senior fellow with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies said: " The Iranian regime is maneuvering on gaining time all the way until it achieves its goals, including deploying a nuclear weapon and changing the balance of power. The Obama Administration gave lots of time to the Iranian regime. It even gave it a break in June 2009 during the demonstrations. But the Iranian regime didn't offer anything to the Obama Administration. The latter is now facing a domestic political challenge next fall after three local elections which indicated how is a majority fo Americans feeling about US Foriegn Policy."
