Phares on FoxNews.com: "We're Engaged In a Terror War -- And New York Is the Prime Target"
"In any of these scenarios, we’re talking about another “terror act” taking place on U.S. soil, it’s about the fifteenth since the beginning of 2009. By empirical methods multiple terror acts are a “terror war” waged against this country – and New York City is its prime target."

Phares remembers the Velvet Revolution in Prague: "It is coming to Tehran, Damascus and Beirut, no matter what"
Twenty years later, Walid Phares remembers the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia on November 17, 1989 and notes that US leaders saluted the uprising of the Czechoslovak people against totalitarian ideology and regime. "The US President then didn't say supporting the peaceful demonstrators was "meddling" in Czechoslovak domestic affairs. The fall of Soviet Communism in Prague showed how wrong are Western leaders who side with the totalitarian regimes. Because at the end of the day, free peoples will rise and Western politicians will be embarrassed. The Middle East won't be an exception. Check this youtube and think of Tehran, Beirut and Damascus..it is coming..no matter what"
